Privacy by Design
GatherUp is built with privacy at its core:
- Private preferences: Other members cannot see your individual responses—only aggregated data is shown to the host
- No passwords: We use phone-based authentication only
- Minimal data: We only collect what's necessary for event planning
- No selling: We never sell your data to third parties
SMS Communication
By using GatherUp, you consent to receive text messages at the phone number you provide. Message frequency varies based on event activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from event notifications.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as you have active events. After 90 days of inactivity, your data may be deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
